Where to find pistol bullets to reload

There is a Canadian company called Cam-Pro that makes excellent CMJ bullets.
Elwood Epps in Ontario deals them.

Try and find something fairly local. Bullets are heavy and the shipping can often eat up any savings you may find by buying from more distant suppliers. You need to do the math to figure out if shipping in is worth it.
If you and some buddies that reload can go for a bigger "pallet load" amount then commercial trucking becomes a viable option for shipping vs using UPS, Fedex or CP. At that point the shipping charges drop by a big amount.
I have no idea what amount becomes better for shipping by truck. I suspect it would be in the 30 to 40 box range. And at around 25lbs per box for 9mm and 28 to 30 lbs a box for .45 that means you're shipping something like 1000 lbs of bullets. At that point it would be well worth it to contact some cartage outfits in your area and see what it would cost.
It sounds like a LOT of bullets. But if you and some others can go for even two boxes of 9 and two of .45 that's four boxes each and you only need to find 10 guys. But that's only 2000 of each. If you can get them at a good price and can foot the bill to cover your needs off for a couple of years you may find that you only need two or three similarly forethinking freinds to team up and split a thousand pounds of bullets.

Aim Projectiles seems to have some decent prices on copper plated pistol bullets....made in beautiful downtown Hamilton Ontario....
Get AIM stuff shipped to you. If you live within driving distance and pick up bullets in person you can save on shipping - but it comes at a price. The corner of Chapple and Barton St in Hamilton, is epicentre for a game we play as we drive through this scenic part of town called "Count the crack whores."
Seriously - It's a lead foundry - you wouldn't expect it to be in the suburbs. They're a few blocks away from the Hell's Angels new clubhouse. The factory next to their shop is in the midst of demolition so there's this hallway kind of thing you walk through with a wall on the right side and a door into thier place. On the left there's a torn down wall and some sort of post-apocalyptic mass of wires and pipes strewn across the open space of the torn down factory. It always seems to be raining when I go, so that adds to the experience. On the open wall of the next factory, which used to be an interior wall of the torn down one, is a huge Marxixt-Leninist "Workers of the World Unite" themed mural. The ambiance is excellent. Once you're inside thier shop - it's far less surreal. Perfectly normal industrail establishment...
The bullets are fine. I shoot the 180gr 40s and just tried thier new 185s (better, IMO) My wife shoots 147gr 9mms and a couple shooting buddys use the 124s in thier 9mms. They're CAST bullets, but the plating is good, so shooting them in Glocks works fine. I'm 5,000 rounds into my Glock with thier stuff and no problems. A buddy of mine wishes they would make 115gr for his 9mm, and thats the only complaint we have with them.
They had a bad day casting a while back but their QC caught it (or maybe tried something new and it didn't catch?) and I took advantage of an opportunity to take 10,000 rds of 170gr bullets for 40 cal off of them for next to nothing. The boxes are mostly 170s labelled as 180s. One box of actual 180s -- but no variance within each box that I could find... Just to be safe, I picked up a couple thou of the new 185s that I like so much for competing, and the HUGE pile of 170s are for training now. Nice.
The stuff they actually sell to people is good stuff. And they're good people. My wife and I were in buying about 5 thousand bulets a while back, and while we were in the office paying, one of the fellows in the shop carried everything out to our truck for us. Plus it's neat to see a shop actually making the stuff we use, and they'll give you a bit of a tour if you call ahead and drop in to pick up an order. Don't wear white.
