Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find a decent 7-08 or 308 powder? I can't find anyone that has Varget, 8208, or 3031.... i can't find these anywhere!
Sadly, those are what my 7-08 plinker and the 308 beast likes - shooting 155 scenars and 175SMK... 7-08 140gr NAB
PM me if you have a lead on above powders please! When will this powder drought end??????
Thanks all!

Might help if you posted where you are from....I know of a couple shops in Alberta and BC that are pretty flush with powder but that's not much help if you aren't from around here.

That is why I didn't tell which powder was where. If the OP is not willng to give his location for whatever the reason then the amount of help they recieve is always going to be limited.

Yeah. It's like pulling fecking teeth innit? Trying to get enough useful information to be able to provide a useful answer.

So, on that note. You get gunpowder at the gun store!

Try W760 or H414. All of my rifles like both of those powders in the cartridges the OP lists.

W748 works for lighter bullets.

I am in Manitoba. Powder is scarce here! I have tried many of the powders listed, and really am after those I listed - thats what the guns like!
Thanks for the suggestions - but again, most of them are out too! I m all over the mail order thing if someone can find some anywhere in Canada!

Hi, I am a newbie to the reloading scene and a new member to gun nutz. I have just ordered 3 8lb kegs from higginson powders of IMR 4320 powder to reload for my 308. I did a lot of research and this is an older powder but is highly touted by many longer shooters. If you buy 21lbs or more in an order Higginson ships for free plus the hasmat charge. This puts my order at $8?lb which is better than I could get at Cabela's or Whole Sale.

I haven't had much luck with powders at grouse river for over 4 or 5 months. Everything I have tried to get is back ordered. H1000, RL25, H414, W760, H4198, RL7, Varget, 8208, 4064, IMR4350, H4350, H4831SC, H4895, etc....

I am completely out of RL25, H1000, H4198, RL7, H322, Unique, W760, H414, looks like I'll have to put in a 21 lb order for hummasons or higginsons.
