Where to find repro 1861 Springfield or 1853 Enfield?

Greetings,

I am looking at becoming involved in Civil War Re-enactment and was wondering if there are any good places to start looking for the above rifles.

A search on here has turned up bust so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for stores that may have these, preferably used, but not necessary.

Marstar sells Pedersoli replicas I believe. Shooter's Choice probably sells them too.

Try talking to the other re-enactors in your area. They may know of somebody selling out or can tell you where they purchased their rifles. My friend is into War of 1812 re-enactment and picked up a repro bess and uniform from a fellow who was no longer active due to poor health.

try loyalist arms..............in halifax ns. even better try an contact a local rreenactment group................theres a few in ontario both northern and a very good rebel unit i believe called the 10th lousiania ?
