Hi, i am looking for the more bang for the buck on a RCBS rock chucker kit.

Two years ago they were everywhere, now they are difficult to find and expensive. They seem to be way cheapers south of our border.

I have seen a kit on Cabelas.com, will this ship to canada? If so, will i have to pay duty fees?

Thank you

Try Brownell's - great deal and they ship to Canada, or if you're like me and live close to the border, have it delivered to a receiving site such as those at Kinek.com and pick it up yourself. Brownell's frequently has promo codes to save $25-$50 off orders over $150-$300, watch for these coming up once their orders calm down from Christmas.

Natchez Shooter Supply or Brownells.

Both have the Rock Chucker Master Kit on sale for $279.99 and a mail in rebate for $10. Brownells has the Rock Chucker press on sale for $119. Prices are US.

I got mine shipped from cabelas.com to a receiver just across the boarder. By the time I paid exchange and the duty/tax, it was close to what henry at budget shooter supply was selling his for. I think he had it for $399 but I don't see it on his site anymore.

I ended up getting my rock chucker supreme kit from brownells. I am on a border town like firearmsenthusiast. I had it sent to the states and went and picked it up. There is a spot called the ship it shop. I got free shipping, plus rcbs had a $50 promo if you bought a certain amount of their stuff. Also watch Amazon's site.

just out of curiosity what is the duty like on reloading gear?

I've never paid any duty on reloading gear. GST/HST is applicable, as well as brokerage fees: $35-$50 for UPS/FEDEX; $10-Canada Post. Plus shipping, of course.
You could be money ahead to order from Henry at Budget Shooter Supply and you'll get it a lot faster, too.

You don't pay duty on items made in the USA. Just taxes. If you have it shipped to Canada brokers will tack on their lovely handling fees. With our dollar collapsing the way it has been. It might be cheaper and easier to get on this side of the border.

Not to start a reloading press war, but I owned a RockChucker, and now own a Lee Classic Cast Turret press. I would never go bavk to the RockChucker, and its close to double the cost of the Lee. Just the humble opinion of a poor prairie boy though.
