So I've been hunt the web to try and find the ti25 magazine for my sr22r but they don't seem to exist in canada. Does anyone know where i can get one or are they prohibited like the ruger bx25.

They are not prohib as far as I know. The few Canadians who do have tac inc mags got them before that #### head Obama made it really damn hard to import anything to do with guns (import, export license) .

I had a feeling that was the problem. Cause you go on a US web site they all say at the moment they were not shopping to canada. That just pisses me off

Is it possible to purchase in the States, then bring back yourself? As long as it's under $100

Bumping this question. i lost 1 hour google-ing for TI25 in Canada with no luck..

export paper or not.. can i just go get some myself in the US and pay whatever they ask me at the Canadian border ?

As much as TI25 seem the way to go since BX25 is illegal, it starting to look like Butler creek!

why is the BX 25 illegal?

and, if its NOT restricted, i dont see why you cant go and get one and declare it. I got my 44mm Vortex sunshade today. For the life of me I couldnt find one in Canada, and i couldnt get anyone to ship one, so i got one shipped to my US parcel service and picked it up today. declared it at the customs and had no issue with them at all.

this whole US/Canada shipping thing has just gone all wrong..... ridiculous. I know how you feel.

At the SHOT show the friendly folks at the Tactical Innovations booth said that as they aren't licenced for export, none of their gun parts can be legally sent out of the USA.

All of the current American rules were in place under Bush. Obama had nothing to do with creating the current export controls.

Worth the price

thank you for the info, at least someone carry them... unfortunately, its the aluminium version at 80$ a piece.. at that price, i'll stick with Butler Creek mags. I was more looking for the cheaper steel lips version of TI25.. I would even try the poly one if i could find some to compare with the BC mag

I actually just got my TI25 machined aluminum mag today, and it's gorgeous. Thanks to Wanstalls for bringing them in, good job.

I have the Butler Creek steel lip mags, which work great - though some do need a little filing/adjustment.

The Tactical Inovations aluminum mag is in a league of its own, you can adjust it for the perfect fit, absolutely no wiggle like the BC ones, that can cause ftf's. Completely disassemble it for cleaning (if you want/need to ), and it is solid like a tank.

My SR22 just looks silly with the BC mags, that cost about half as much. The TI25 looks great, feels great, you can slam it into the gun, unlike the more fragile BC mags.

I'm definitely going to buy more, because I plan to fire tens of thousands of .22lr through my 10/22 systems, so it's well worth the investment.

I always felt that the one flaw in the superb 10/22 system was the mags, not anymore, thanks TI.

Very interested in these magazines - can you post pics with your SR22?

got the aluminium mag 3 days ago.. and its just add more pain of having to wait around 3 months to get the PAL permit :)

Correct.
Not sure were people receive their info from, Obama is no friend of gun owners, but the Bush admins 'war on terror' did a lot to close American borders to our 'terrorist harbouring but friendly enough to allow all your planes to land here' country.

Wasn't Canada offered an exemption from the ITAR type laws but our douchbag ambassador said don't bother??
