Where To Find Used Gun Values....?

There is a book called "The blue book of gun values" I can't remember who the author is or the publisher, someone will chime in I'm sure. Not a bad book for getting a good idea what a used gun is valued at, it is in US currency.

The Blue Book, like all gun value books, is at least two years out of date and reflects average prices across the U.S. only. It doesn't consider regional supply and demand differences at all. It's listed values are ball-park figures for the States and have little to do with Canadian values.
"...make some offers..." Offer what you're willing to pay. If the seller gets offended, he should rethink his asking price.

Its a rare thing to find a gun book at a library in this country but it can be seen.
Hmm, I don't know about that. I once tried to find the Canadian Firearm Safety Course manual, and the only Toronto Public Library branch that had it was, interestingly enough, in the Jane/Finch area (I'm sure local gangstas are lining up to learn about safe firearm handing).

Ive got a couple of copies of "The Blue Book" they are issues 4 years apart, Ive found in general prices change very little if at all between the two books!
I use them just as a reference when Im buying /selling to see if prices seem reasonable...there is a bit of interpolation required but i feel it gets me in the ball park.

As said before ... it is in US$ and doesnt take into reigonal demand but I cant seem to find anything that does!!

You can find copies at gun shows or go to thier site, some prices are free others cost.

In the larger libraries in Calgary one of the shelves will have a sign on the side reading "firearms". And there will be a good quantity of gun related books. Am I spoiled living in Alberta?
