Where to get 2 1/2 in shotgun shells in Canada

Cabela's in Winnipeg had some in stock not that long ago. Cabela's.ca website says Kent Gamebore Shotshells in 2 1/2 inch for $15.99 a box are available. I bought 2 Husqvarna double barrel shotguns from Tradeex 2 years ago and even if they are old shotguns, they were a really good deal and with the Kent's they make short work of ruffed grouse. Hope this helps.

Wholesale Sports had the Kent Gamebore2 1/2 inch 12 ga. in stock in Saskatoon and listed them on their website also.

loading your own is easy too any old 12ga hull can be used just trim it down to 2 1/2" and black powder or smokeless loads can be used with car wads or even modern 1 piece plastic wads trick is to cut the hull down and just roll crimp the load can stay somewhat the same as a 2 3/4" hull. it would also depend on the gun a lot of the 2 1/2" guns are meant for black powder only so use BP loads or very light smokeless. never and I mean never fire a 2 3/4" in a 2 1/2" gun the crimp will open into the forcing cone and this can cause over pressure witch mite bulge the barrel or even make it blow up

you just have to cut the hulls down to 2 1/2" and glue in the over shot card in or roll crimp it after loading them roll crimp tool can be had for about $20 you can also use the bp measure to measure the lead shot

Thanks everyone !
Sorry that it duplicated another thread in the ammo forum.
