Where to get 2lbs of Stainless Steel Media?

I wonder how much shipping is to a location in the US. I like the fact that these pins are sized to avoid getting stuck in the primer pockets. It would be about $10 CAD per lb plus shipping and $5 US parcel fee.

I don't have a barrel-type tumbler yet - can you get away with doing small batches in a traditional vibratory tumbler (either wet or dry)?

SS pins only really work in a wet Tumbler..

I actually went right to the manufacturer of these pins to get mine. The factory isn't all that far from me. I think I ended up buying about 30 or 40 pounds worth.
They even tossed in a couple extra 5 lb bags.
I run about 15 lbs of pins in my tumbler and I've been using the same 15 lbs for three or so years... so I probably have enough pins to last me until I quit shooting/reloading.

Proper stainless steel should not be magnetic.

I use a paint strainer bag to separate mine so the bulk of them don't need to be grabbed with the magnet. But there are ALWAYS a few that escape and thank god they are magnetic. I didn't buy the Frankford Arsenal magnet cause I only have to grab a few strays, I just use a stack of rare earth ones.

300 series stainless steels are non magnetic, when you get into 400 series it is magnetic. for lack of a better word 400 series is "stronger", and is still corrosion resistant. the magnetic attraction is not near as strong as with carbon steel. This is it in a nutshell.

Well hate to say but, Dam E-bay came as the winner with a 30 % off sale for a 2 1/2 lb. bag from Shooting supply place, even with the shipping it's less than half of what I would have paid here for a 5 lb bag. Add that to my wet tumber that I got shipped to my door for $83.00 Canadian. My set up to do SS. Is about $120.00 in total for everything. And yes they are the magnetic good pins.
