Anyone know of a source in Vancouver (or wherever else) to get used 45 brass in Canada, since I hear it is a problem to buy any components in the US.
Of course I need bullets too, so if anyone knows of a source for both.....?

wholesale, russels, there's a bunch of them- probably some closer to you- scratch that - you want used- didn't see that-

I order (bid ) my brass on ebay. Cost about $70 CDN a thousand shipped.
Shipping is as much as the price of the brass. Specify to the seller when requesting a shipping quote that you want an insurance on your package.

Thanks tweety. Tell me something, I'm new to 45ACP, and I thought they used large pistol primers, but it seems they can use either small or large? Does it depend on what you want to load?

Insurance - have you had problems with it not showing up?

Winchester NT brass uses a small primer. Could be an advantage IF you have a progressive press and use small primers for your other calibres then you don't need to change over the primer system. Same loads, same everything except for the primer size. But most brass you find at matches will be large primers so I would stick with them.

Not used.. but for that price might as well get new.
Wow you must be rich! While I do buy powder and primers from him, $19.24 per 100 hardly is in the same price range as used brass. If you're only going to use 100 cases then buy some new stuff. But if you are shooting much or competing in IPSC, etc. that could really add up.

I'd like to find a local or Canadian supplier to buy 10,000+ cases from but even at $70/1000 that's a lot of money for used brass. And the 6/49 hasn't come through for me yet! :(

If you go to the HACS show, there's usually a guy with a table there that sells tons of once-fired brass. It's good stuff and reasonably priced. Higginson's is also good for once-fired brass.
