where to get 7.62x54r ammo?

ok, so the Milsurp bug bit, and I've got a Mosin on the way... maybe a little hindsight on my part, but this ammo doesn't seem to be to pleantiful anyone got any hot tips on where to aquire some? SIR has it listed on their site, but is back ordered (don't know what they charge to ship ammo either) CanAm says it'll be months before they get any. Maybe I should have ponied up some more cash and gone enfield.... damn enemy at the gates got me going for the mosin

That movie is the reason I bought my mosin. Try checkin at the gun shows( if you dont mind milsurp ammo). If you find some place else to buy them ,let me know

New sporting ammo is available if you bend over and take it up the muzzle.

I bought graf and sons brass from ellwood epps for 34$/100. I bought them out, but maybe they have more in.

P.S. Use .303 bullets(.312), not .308

ellwoods usually has igman 148gr SP ammo..12.99 a box and its pretty decent stuff. I got lots of it

Just go to a bog and fish an old Russian tank out. There's bound to be some on board.
