In my particular case, since I want to try it out before committing to a dedicated long range gun, I will mount my 2.5-10x32 & 6-24x50 on the same bolt action to get a taste of both short and long range. the QD is definitely useful in this case and also has to be sturdy. from everything I read for ADM, I think they are one of the best ones.
to add some info which may be useful for anyone that is looking for similar stuff.
1. ADM told me that they no longer ship to Canada anymore.

luckily we have many sponsors and brownells is always there as backup.
2. For the bolt action mount, in addition to the regular part number, like AD-RECON-SL-30, make sure specify either STD or TAC at the end like AD-RECON-SL-30-TAC. this is to differentiate standard QD lever vs tactical.
3. For Tavor, either old or new X95, ADM has a new product specifically for them, as AD-RECON-PB-H which is not on their web site yet. Their tech. manager told me I can pre-order it for my X95.
Having used a larue qd mount for years now.... I think the qd is overrated.... I almost never remove my scope
