Ok as you know I have just gotten myself a flintlock. Now I need to know where to get a powder horn, and possible bag. Where do you guys get yours or do you make every thing you need.

As you know, cows horns have a curve in them, and the horn has a lanyard which you wear like a postal worker wears a mail bag. For form fitting the right side horn has the correct curve for a rh shooter. Think I got my right /left right:D :D

was at e-bay and some say they are right or left handed horns. What does this mean??

Just a hunch, but it probably means the side the cow wore them on. I can picture where a right horn would wrap in snugger to the torso of a right handed person.

I have seen lots of nice ones on Ebay.
Even under gun parts under the Canadian only ebay sellers.

Tho Customs should be OK with old cow horns maby

If you have a slaughter house in Prince G, check with them to see if they have any horns. Let the horn rot for 2 or 3 days and you can put the bony core in the vice and twist the horn off of the core and go from there. Two paws and others sell empty horns relatively cheaply.
Right and left refers to the way that the horn twists as it hangs at your side. Arguably, you may wish the point to twist away from your body to make the tip more accessible but it is probably not a major concern for most people.
