Where to get a SPR/DMR upper

Hello!

I've been thinking for a while about getting rid of my R700 in 223 (1:12 twist is really busting my balls) and getting a SPR/DRM type AR-15. Because why not! I have a awesome bolt gun why not an awesome semi too. I plan on building the lower because I like to tinker but I am not too comfortable with the upper. So where is the best place to get a quality upper in this style?

I didn't think they shipped stuff with barrels to Canada. I'll take a look thanks!

You need to apply for an export permit in order to purchase receivers, barrels, muzzle devices. See the Brownell's sticky thread in the legal section for instructions.

^^ what I did was group all the parts that needed am export permit together.

I build my SPRish upper using Aero precision parts M4E1 upper and 15" keymod rail from Saskatoon gunworks and a bolt/barrel/gas block/tube from the EE. If you can assemble a lower, you can assemble an upper. A lot less parts. Some specialized tools needed like a vise and barrel wrench but thats about it. I went with a 20" barrel in .223 wylde. It went together in about 25 minutes. I didn't see many SPR'ish uppers ready built from the sponsors. The longest I regularly see is 16". I wanted a 18" barrel but got a great deal on a 20" barrel set that I couldn't resist.
