Where to get cheap 303 British Ammo?

There is no such thing as CHEAP .303 milsurp ammo to be had on the open market. Like many older guys who cut their teeth on the Lee Enfields, I remember the happy days of .05 or 10 cent/round milsurp ammo, but those days are long gone. I picked up a whole bunch of the FNB stuff years ago when Marstar had it on special, but even milsurp (when you find it) is usually $1.00/round. If you go to any local gun auctions and once in a while at a gun show, you may find some stuff at .50 cents each like I did at a gun auction near here last year. As so many others have said, start looking at reloading. If you plan to do any serious shooting, it will pay for itself in the long run. As an aside, anyone who's gotten into the SKS fad (as I have), buy now!!! We'll have that surplus ammo around for years, but watch the prices creep up as shelf stock is bought up and readily available ammo gets scarcer. Who would have thought 50 years ago that .303 ball would become scarce and expensive? Especially given the hundreds of millions of rounds produced by Britain & the commonwealth countries alone, let alone Greece, Egypt, Belgium etc. Look to the future! If you want your kids to enjoy shooting inexpensively as we did and do, stockpile ammo, or at least the components to load your own.
