Hello

I have just bought a CZ 452 American and a buddy has got the Lux. We are looking for the scope bases and adjustable sears that Rimfire Technologies sell, but we are having a hard time finding a supplier that will ship to Canada. I spoke to Rimfire Technologies directly and he does not ship to Canada.
Does anybody have a source for these parts?

Many thanks

Not sure where to get the adjustable sear but for the scope base and rings you can try BKL. They have great products (I use the 257 rings on my 452 Style) and they will ship to Canada.

I have been looking at those and they look great, but I was hoping to find the bases that have the 25 MOA slope to them. I guess in a pinch I could get the burris rings with inserts. Thanks.

You will find the Burris rings won't center. The cz has a 11mm dovetail and the burris's are 3/8'. That is unless cz has recently changed the dovetail.

I figured that they would not fit on the dove tail, but I was suggesting that I get a flat rail that is an adapter to weaver and then use the burris rings.

I found this base that is available in a 20 moa slope, but it does not state weather its for 3/8 or 11mm. I'm hoping that it will fit either one. I will be getting in contact with these guys and keeping my fingers crossed.

That makes a ugly set up. I use Millet rimfire rings on my 452's and they work well. They clamp from both sides so you have a bit of windage adjustment as well. B Square also makes a 11 mm ring.

You're shooting a .22 LR that doesn't group very accurately beyond 100 yards/meters anyways. You don't need a base with 25 MOA (or any slope.) MOA bases are for high-powered shooting at long range (think 800 yards and further.)

The CZ's are great rifles and very accurate. I have a Lux and two Americans. I bought the BKL 257's as they seem to be the only ring that will fit the groove properly and not have any awkward cant to them. I have Warne rings on one American that don't fit properly and are going to be replaced when I get around to it.

According to the CZ USA website, the dovetails on the 452 American are in fact 3/8", not 11mm. Whether or not the CZ website is accurate, I don't know. I know there are plenty of people on the rimfire central CZ forum that run all the different types of rings mentioned already in this thread, but as to which ones actually fit the best...?? I'd also like to find some adjustable rings or perhaps an adjustable base for my 452 American as well, please let us know what you decide on and how they work for you. Good luck in your search, the more I've researched this subject, the more confused I've become...wish these receivers came with a weaver type mount.

The dovetails on the 452 americans are 3/8ths and cut at a 45 degree angle. This is exactly the same as Talley bases so ANY Talley ring (100004 for .4" med, 10005 for .5" high, etc.) will fit perfectly. You don't need the rimfire ones for the American.

For the Lux I believe the dovetail is 11mm and cut on a different angle - maybe 60 degrees. I'm not positive so don't take that as fact.

Either way, call clay from Prophet River and he can set you up.

Another source of information is the rimfirecentral website - lots of threads on ring/base combos there.

Talley are EXCELLENT, they make them to fit the 452 exactly , they ship direct to Canada, one week to your door.

I found this base which I believe will fit the 3/8 or 11mm by flipping the clapping bar over. They have the 20 moa slope to get out to 200 yards for shooting that new long range 22lr match where they shoot out to 200 - 300 yards. I might give these a try.
Thanks for all the input guys!

I use Weaver 1" Extra-High Dove Tail mounts for 3/8" rail on my CZ 452 American. They are the only ones I could find that centered properly and allowed enough clearance to keep the bolt handel from comming into contact with the scope body. Got mine form Epps.

They're not cheap ($40 + tax) but I can shoot 2" groups at 100 yards consistently with them so I'm not complaining.

FYI: For any rimfire rail, I would suggest calling the company and speaking to them about their options to ship to Canada.

Just mounted the leupold 4x28mm on the scout with leupold medium rings. The combination is a perfect match in size and fit. I had to remove the slide adjuster on the rear sight to allow more clearance between the scope objective and the sight so there is enough room for scope covers. So mabye the high rings would have been perfect. I also installed the YODAVE trigger kit and it is a big improvement. I set it at 3lbs with the original spring but now there is way less creep, very crisp. The springs in the kit are weaker and I couldnt get any more than 2.4 lbs which felt too light so I went with the original spring. Mabye in the future when the kids wont be shooting it I will lighten it up. Thanks for the tip.
