Where to get nice walnut wood stock and forend for Remington 870

It is important to be concise when dealing with technical issues but we aren't really focused on producing rational engineers in Canada anymore.... it's all about raising emotional thinkers and then using big pharma ssri's to manage the resulting emotional dysfunction.

The point of having a term for something that all use is to be concise. Which allows one's thinking to be concise. Which doesn't appear to be a hallmark of young people today.

Oops.....I've probably triggered a bunch of young people on here. Go to your safe space, quick. Call the woke police.

Lol .... folks, language evolves and changes over time!! Everybody understands perfectly what I mean when I say "shotgun furniture" and in the context of this thread.

You just would like that it means something else ....

If you folks have nothing else to do ... keep at it .... play the language police .... but I doubt you will have much success reversing the evolution of the language ...

For myself .... I will continue to use the term "furniture" .... I like my walnut furniture ..... :)

p.s.: Everyone posting here and complaining about furniture ..... should at least make an attempt at helping the OP. This thread is way off topic .....

This constant thread derailment over f.u.kking retarded bullsh.it just ruins a good conversation.
Some of the posters in this thread must have sad little lives to create and argue such childish garbage

Too funny. I think this hits a nerve and it ain't with "the old" guys.

So I only got "into" guns about 15 years ago. Prior to that, while I hunted, i knew very little specifically about shotguns, or rifles for that matter. Still don;t know much about rifles. But when I did get interested, I tried to learn all I could. If I didn't know something, i asked. If I used a term incorrectly, I wanted to be corrected. I wanted to learn and understand.

What I didn't do was take time to explain to people who likely knew more than me why they were wrong. I can read news stories every day here and elsewhere of young people explaining to "us oldsters" how we are wrong about so many things. All I have to do is look at what is happening on college campuses to see that crap.

If there is a "generational" thing going on here, it's you young snowflakes who have to have it your way. You reference the language police so I reference the woke police and someone gets huffy? The ego and hubris gets a little shocking.

I'd help the OP but I have no good ideas about where to buy an 870 wood stock. There is one on my Wingmaster but I ain't selling.

Us old guys have had the benefit of using said terminology for 4 or 5 DECADES. Young guys for mere months or a few years. OF COURSE we have a harder time resisting change. We spent half a century doing it. You think of something daily for 40 years, then have a young whipper-snapper come along and change the vernacular "just because", I bet you will be the same. If its not broken, you young guys will learn, DONT FIX IT

Oh I get it, I’m in the middle group age wise. I wish I was a young whipper snapper still, I’d be less sore at the end of the day and my eyes would still be better than 20/20 lol.

Thanks for all your helpful advice folks, I have lots to look into. I'll keep an eye out on the EE. The Boyd's XX Walnut look really nice.

My Boyd's Win 94 FURNITURE arrived 15 days after placing the order online.
I've bought a few pieces of BoydsFURNITURE , 870, 10-22, all arrived in roughly 2 weeks and well wrapped.
One thing though, out of the 3 orders I ended up paying tax and duty on 1.

Strange segue. Right or wrong, the black rifle crowd has commonly referred to buttstocks and handguards as “furniture” for decades. Look at pretty much any large US retailer website that sells parts and accessories for the AR-15.

LOL. I see what you did there :)
Did you order anything from Boyd's recently or was it a long time ago? How did the 870 Furniture look? Was it nice walnut?

I have a stock and forend that I took off a an 870 Wingmaster. It's just the standard 870 Wingmaster wood. If you're interested let me know, and I will send you some pics. I have no idea what it's worth. Maybe someone here knows.
