Where to get USGI parts

For instance, there is a Fed Ord M14 in the ee right now for 800.00 bucks described as a safe queen and it's probably all usgi parts except receiver.The receiver manufacturer has a terrible rep, hence the low price, BUT if the parts are good it's might be a good deal to score all your USGI parts in one go. Buyer beware though, it would be best to have a good look before buying.
 
There are some H&R M14 parts on the EE right now. But what giwolf recommends might just be the ticket. Curious if they manufactured their own bolts or what?

Pretty sure that one is all chinese parts on the fed ord receiver
 
I read up on the Fed ord rifles after checking that one and apparently anything sub serial # 5000 was produced using a majority of USGI parts and decent receivers , the problems started after Fed ord switched owners .

Theres a decent couple of articles on google if you type in Fed ord m14 .
