Where to go for a really good waterfowl hunt?

Okay, I am in the Yukon, where is the best place for me and a friend to go for a really good hunt this year?

I know the prairies are most likely the place, but where and when?

There is great waterfowl hunting in Alberta and Saskatchewan right now.It should continue for about another month.

Seriously....Buffleheads by the hundreds, over and over. I've NEVER done so much shooting since I moved up here (Georgian Bay)

I'd say either Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba would be good choices for honkers and not too shabby for ducks.

Southern Ontario is absolutely palooted with geese. I had a great hunt there two years ago when I was there for my Dad's funeral.

I'd go there first, but then PEI is well known for geese as well.

In Central Alberta, at least until the end of October, maybe into November - depends on the weather.
