Where to hunt Gophers in AB?

Used to shoot on the lease pasture out by Two Hills a lot. That really let's you stretch your legs. All depends who's leasing and what their cattle plans are. I'll ask Al next time I talk with him out there. - dan
With spring around the corner, just reaching out to find a land owner that needs help removing some varmints from their land.

Yes and no. As someone who poisons gophers for work as I can say that despite it not being as good as the old stuff it can be mixed well enough to still ruin a good shooting spot
I miss the days back on the farm... 45 miles east of Calgary. In the 70's I shot a lot out to 100 yards + with a scoped .22 heavy barrel handgun. Had a big soft bag that draped over the side mirror/window of my truck. Carried a .22LR for closer shots and a .17 Remington for out to about 300 yards. Most farmers would let you shoot gophers.
I hope you can hook up with a good shooting area Jerry. It's good shooting until the crops grow high enough to hide the little buggers.

Three of us from Nutz flew to Saskatchewan last year and shot approximately 8,000 plus some other critters the farmers didnāt like! We are headed back again this year. Flights booked for March 23 and staying in the same area. One of the best trips and the people are amazing. The infamous Mr.Bill ! 22LRGuy doing brain surgery with his Velociters, also causes severe tummy aches. Canāt wait
