where to hunt lower mainland

Head to your local sporting goods store and pick up a Fraser Valley Region Hunting Brochure .
Loads of info there or try google, might be quicker and give some quicker advice.
Do you meet the Provincial Residency Requirement yet?

This will get you started...biggest change is the foreshore distances while hunting in the Delta.

Lots of good waterfowl hunting in the east Fraser Valley, Abbotsford , Chilliwack area. You will have to get out and knock on doors for permission to hunt, but if you are motivated you will find land to hunt on.

do you have a boat?
there are some fantastic hunting opportunities in the lowermainland. Not everyone has found them so most folks will tell you you have to drive FARRRR away from the city.
Hogwash.

East Harrison forest service road. It is a big area, get some good maps, stop and talk to forestry guys. You will have to hike to find success, road hunting by quad or vehicle is just not gonna get results.
The entire Chilliwack valley is loaded with deer. Very hard to hunt , timing and location is everything. I used to take my 12ft aluminum to the back end of Chilliwack lake, camping at the beach head and hunting the forests behind. There is some spectacular hunting back there but it's old school, no vehicle, camp in the bush and pack light.
I've taken several "record book" blacktails back there. Seen elk, moose, grizzly, black bear and even goats up by hanging lake in the shale.
Heading into the mountains anywhere between lions bay and squamish ... also loads of deer around.

Lowermainland hunters don't do well in their own region because they have not learned to hunt the blacktail deer. It's ####ty hunting LOL, hard on the body and tests all your witts of stealth and scent control.
as for ducks and geese.... lots of that around , hook up with Richmond rod and gun club .... All I will say about that.

if you are a driven hunter, the alpine in any of the lowermainland lake valleys will offer spectacular blacktail hunting..... you just gotta get up there. And again, while I may take crap from some guys who hunt up there..... East Harrison.
that's all the shortcut advice I'm gonna give here ;) I grew up fishing every lake and stream both low land and alpine and found a lot of honey holes for fantastic deer hunting.... but it's wayyy the fugg up there in the alpine.
