where to look for Diemaco plastic BUIS?

Anyone know of any Diemaco plastic BUIS at surplus, etc.?

The CF is switching to the ARMS40L-C BUIS and it's probably just wishful thinking, but maybe some of the old plastic BUIS will show up on the market?

I need one (oddly).

They come up from time to time in the EE. I wouldn't pay more than $25-$30 for them. I'm guessing you're making a C7 clone or something? As I'm sure know - they aren't very nice BUISs!

No, not building a C7 clone, but I think these are the only real BUIS that will work wit hthe ELCAN C79 as you need something that mounts in front of the optic using the remaining space.

If you can find one of the trial ones, they are metal. If any one has one I need it for the collection.

The current issue ones are plastic. Which doesnt matter because if you are in the CF, and you break it, you just turn it in for another one. But i would want a metal one for battle. Duh.

I found a plastic one, but a metal one would be nice. The DD unit is nice, but it just doesn't shout ELCAN! The way the Diemaco does with it's matching attachment knob - lol.
