Where should I mount the bi-pod on my custom 10/22 with Boyd Blaster stock?

I'd like to maybe keep the front clear just in-case I wanted to use the 10/22 with a front bag instead of the bi-pod

Here is two pictures to show a comparison, I will be getting a shorter 6-9" bi-pod for this .22 but for now my 9-13" will have to do...

Thanks in advance for any input.

Here it is sitting at the front of the stock.

"I thought the Swivel Stud would grab on the bag......"
Just how much recoil does that evil baby-killer have?:) Depending on the size of bag you use the stud should be a non-issue, no? Unless the rifle ends up pivoting off of the stud I should think you'de be good to go.
Cheers!

Use a sling swivel furthest forward. Most bag shooters I have seen have such a stud, usually to mount a sling for carrying. It will not interfer with shooting and is so small it should not snag the bag, The rifle has such a small recoil that even with the bipod on, it should not make any difference. With the bag rearward as in second position, it will certainly interfere with the banana mags you intend to use. The shorter 6x9 bipod could possibly be too short to use the bigger mags. Also harder to shoot if you are shooting prone, Bench shooting may be ok.

Thanks for the input guys, guess I'll be installing the stud up front on Monday.

And by the way, you guys should all know that because it has a black heavy barrel it can shoot a .22lr round through armor plate at 1.5km and it kicks like a .50 cal haha. cou:
