Where to order extended slide release?

Talk to owners of Norinco NP-29 (the 9mm 1911). It has the extended slide release, but many people replace it with the normal release.

I'd suggest that you stay away from the extended slide release, too. It does not do much good but could create new problems, such as releasing the slide before you get the mag in.
 
Check with Gunnar (Armco) at the top of the page. I think he has Caspian ones listed, or may just have the ones you are looking for.

I can see an extended slide release working well if you don't have long monkey thumbs, which I don't.

Always wondered why they fell out of favor and always wanted one myself, but its been pretty low on my list of improvements.
 
I found the extended release got held down by my thumb on the last shot a bit and caused the slide to close on an empty chamber. really started to bother me to I took it to a grinder, problem solved. Never use the slide release myself anyway, just rack the slide.
