I have been searching all over and I am having troubles locating where I can buy certain M14 Stocks.

I am mostly interested in the SAGE stocks, but I can't seem to find anywhere in Canada to order then from.
I see a lot of people posting pictures of M14s with them, and hope someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks, I sent them an email.
They said they have had some on order for a few months but no ETA on when they will arrive :(

Does anyone know somewhere that might have 1 available now, or at least an ETA on when they might get one.

This is the specific stock I am looking for.

Del Selins got mine for me; it took a while, but I got it. Give them a call and leave your contact info; they WILL get back to you. Great folks to deal with. Good luck!

The M14.ca Blackfeather "RS" rifle stock will be available in March 2012. Made in Canada. It will be Type II anodized black similar to our CASM scope mount. Link included. Here is a video of the Blackfeather during recent range trials.

Talked to the guys at Bashaw sports the other day he said they just recently recived a small portion of their SAGE shippment and that the delay was to due to SAGE having to meet a US military contract. They are taking down names for orders an will call down the list once stuff starts arriving if you are still intrested in purchasing.

Good info, I asked him to put me on the SAGE list.

M14.ca that is a fine looking stock, but I'm just so attached the the style of the previous one I posted. Is it possible to get an adjustable cheek rest for AR15 type butt stocks.

Any approx price for that yet m14.ca?

The machines have to turn yet to determine exact pricing. Material only just came in today and while I still have trials to complete before then, you can be sure that Blackfeather, right now, is a well-balanced, fast handling, ergonomic rifle stock that "feels" good in the hands... . Having the most advanced, quad-locked oprod guide helps too! :D Looking forward to putting it out there!

Cheers,
-Frank

M14.ca, could you elaborate on the "... Having the most advanced, quad-locked oprod guide helps..."

Our oprod guide is secured to the stock:

At 3, 9, 6 o 'clock positions
At the heel via a locking bolt
In the stock channel
A roll pin in the traditional sense

It also has a larger surface bearing area being close to 3/4" in depth.

Even the heel channel which is sitting on a 3/32" or 1/8" steel shim acts to maintain alignment at all times.

It's an advanced oprod guide "system" that under testing has proven out well so far.

You can see the new oprod guide half way through this video.

What did the groups look like?

I can say without a doubt that by simply dropping your rifle in a Blackfeather "RS" stock, your rifle will shoot significantly improved groupings. But how much depends on your rifle, your ammunition and your skill.

We have on order enough Federal Premium Gold Medal Match 168 GR HPBT which we plan to "exercise" through 4 different rifles.

The pre-order page for Blackfeather will have range results data online at M14.ca in March.

I'm curious if you have tested for receiver/barrel shoulder stresses? Being that any forces applied up, down, sideways or otherwise, would transfer this "load" directly to the union of the barrel shoulder/receiver face.
Also what compensates for oprod deflection at the tab, as it's position and "fit" is determined by the oprod guide position and VERY minor adjustments to the oprod guide will absolutely transfer this deflection to the tab and receiver slot.
And third, it's common knowledge that the majority of barrel whip occurs well ahead of the oprod guide. I would think that putting load at the oprod guide may in fact amplify barrel whip. I don't get this "quad lock" feature and how it improves on current chassis systems like the sage or akm.
Further explanation would assist a lot of folks in understanding you "theories" on the performance of the stock.
Not trying to rub you guys, but I get pm's and emails everyday for my thoughts on this stock and I can only express my own theories as we are not seeing concrete evidence that this fancy oprod guide is actually a proven "enhancement" over current production, proven systems.

And again, these are honest questions that are floating around and ending up in my inbox. Not intended to take a poke at the product. Inquiring clients who work hard for their toys want informed choices. I can't help that they ask me :D

Or a rear lug?

Hey G. Shoot me an email. I'll have a new ICR pistol grip/ar buttstock compatable stock for testing shortly. Full length aluminum internal skeleton inside a special carbon fiber laminate. Oprod guide just like a sage and YES it will accept that rear lugged M25 LRB I built up for ya ;)
I'll be doing several months of in house and independant testing evaluation before I release photos and make the results from independant testing public. Some of you might want to hold onto your pennies for this one. Oh... It has a handguard too. It's the last step to complete the package ;)
