Where to purchase antique Revolvers online?

Gunbroker, watch for the deals down in the states. Very easy to import them, just get them sent declared with USPS and your good to go.

Dingus here on the forum - he's got them in Canada, he has good quality safe stuff. Not worth the risk not knowing what you're buying stateside and ending up with junk or locked up in customs somewhere along the line. Buying stateside can be simple, but I've seen more people end up with junk or have it seized because they didn't ask the right question or didn't know some tid bit of law etc.

Your ad in the EE states that you are now looking for something in 44 Special which is at least much safer than buying an 1873 converted to 45acp which you were looking for before. At least you are moving in the right direction.

.45 Long Colt doesn't qualify as an antique btw. It is the same as .45 Colt.

Unfortunately you aren't going to find one of these for anything less than the high prices you have already seen. The reason being that they are made by Colt and that is what Colts sell for.

If you want to shoot an antique safely with reasonable expense then the best thing you can do is learn to reload and learn the steps to do this safely. It really isn't that hard. It just takes a bit of effort.

Of course if you are interested in handguns the smartest thing is to get your RPAL. If you are just plain too lazy to do that then you probably shouldn't be shooting them anyways.
