Hi all :D
I know Quebec sucks for Restricted rifle shooting :( , but I also know that there are quite a few that do have restricted rifles :D .
I would only go shooting a few times a year (still in school and working) so a yearly membership isn't the best for me. I was thinking more like "drop in and pay for a day" type of thing.
Am I doomed in Quebec?
Can anyone help?
Thank you all for helping :)

Try.

Club de tir L'Acadie

The rifle and pistols range is closed for the moment due to renovation.
You have to be member and it's for 115$.

Gaffee

Not rifle friendly at all . 1 round at a time . No rapid fire .

If you shoot there Gaffee , you'll know the real reason the rifle/pistol range is closed .

If you want to shoot Skeet , trap or sporting clays though , I think L'Acadie is probably the best in western Quebec .

St Jacques le Mineur .

(450) 346-3457

Its $20 per visit if your not a member .

Craig

This does not apply to restricted, for you need to be a member to get an ATT.

St-Jacques is however very restricted friendly, come and have fun, if it's legal and safe then it's no problemo. You can shoot restricted from 25 to 200yrds.

There is also a range near Repentigny, Le Pionnier, I have visited and they are not that friendly towards practical shooters. Membership very expensive.

I believe Granby also has some range facilities, since they have IPSC & 3-gun matches, but I could be wrong about this.

you will need a yearly membership to posses restrited for target shooting. i for one go to granby but i am also looking forward to the new range that will open in montreal to cut on gas and spend more on ammo

oh, god that sucks..

Didn't you know that restricted required a ATT to a range? Or is it only in Quebec?

I believe that some provinces have area ATT, giving a certain range like a 150km radius without a specific range being listed, now this may be all wrong but I vaguely remember posts mentionning this. In Quebec the SQ manages the ATT's  .

You guys did NOT heard wrong.

I'm a member at l'Acadie, you need to feed manually your M14 ONE BULLET AT A TIME PLEASE.

Such bull####.

They lost me a s a customer.

I'm waiting for that new Montreal range to open.

Ste-Agathe gun club. Exit 88 of Highway 15 North. Follow the signs. You can load 5 rounds in your mag. Only 100 yds though.

Never been to St.Jaques, but they get my vote and the new place that is supposed to open up in Montreal.
Does anyone know where in Motreal it's supposed to be located and about when it's gonna open?
Would save a #### load on gas :D
More bullets, YIPPI

CTM ( Club de Tir Montreal ) is located on 52nd Avenue , aprox 150m south of Cote de Liesse . Look for the sign on the east side of the street .

Supose to open in October .

BTW , me and some buddies have started car pooling to St. Jacques , saves on gas :) , also less hassle parking at the range , not a whole lot of parking at the rifle range end .
