I convinced myself to do a ruger 10/22 buil. What company's sells the parts needed for the build. The only company I have found and looks great is Dlask. I am starting with Zero parts.

First you need to decide what parts you want and what direction to take the build then look for dealers,do you have an idea of what you want?what do you want to do with it?

Start with The receiver. Find out if you want to use a factory receiver or aftermarket. If you are building it for something to do and enjoy then buy the peaces and put it together. If you want to just shoot it its cheaper to buy one already put together. Here are some good places to start.

Dlask Arms
Mystic Precision
Questar
Wanstalls

Open up the wallet and have fun building one the way you like. The EE is a great place for factory take off parts as well

I recently did my first complete 1022 build on a Dlask receiver and couldn't be happier with the quality for the money. Also used a Kidd fluted HB, kidd bolt, charging handle and spring, and a Kidd trigger kit. All bedded in a boyds thumbhole stock. Shoots MOA or better

100% range use... Sub Moa... Possibly sub 1/2 if possible....

I think an average group of MOA is doable (1/2" at 50 yds), but anything less is going to be a challenge. It is possible but is likely to take some time, tweaking and serious $$$. I would seriously consider importing a full Kidd build, but if you are determined to build it yourself then a Dlask receiver and all KIDD internal parts, Kidd 2 stage trigger and a 20" Kidd or Green Mountain bull barrel would be my suggestion. On the other hand, that pretty much describes my BR 10/22 and I have still not qualified for the 1/2" Challege, with it, despite multiple tries with match grade ammo. For roughly half the money I have a CZ 455 that qualified for the 1/2" challenge on my second try.

Good luck and be sure to post your build and results.

This is pretty sound advice here and pretty much what I was going to suggest take a look at brimstone in the states for a trigger if the kidd isn't something you want to jump into. Also volquartsen is a very viable choice and don't forget optics.
The 10/22 is a great rifle and capable of decent accuracy however if it's pure accuracy your looking for then maybe this isn't the best choice however they are the funnest to build and tinker with.

Tom E's build is very much one of my builds as well and while it will do 1/2" at 50 it won't do it consistently enough for the 1/2" challenge, as you will get one or two flyers out of 25. It's a Dlask reciever, with Kidd intervals and barrel (pictured bottom right)

The other thing to consider is how much you want to spend. These builds will run you over a $1k, so be prepared to open your wallet.

I'm under $600 for a build I've just finished putting together this evening and really can't wait to see the results, but I do still have to send my trigger down to Brimstone. The 10/22 is a great platform to build but definitely won't end up giving you 20 round groups the size of a dime lol

That pretty much what I am looking to spend. What is your 1022 setup??

Heres mine. Its mainly Dlask. I started with a stainless older 10/22 reciever/bolt and trigger mech. Got Dlask parts and some power custom.
