Where's a guy gotta go to find a Henry X or Marlin Dark these days?

As I understand it, Remington owned Marlin, and Remington went bankrupt recently and was acquired by Sturm, Ruger & Co late 2020. Combine that with covid, it's unclear whether or not they're making new rifles at the moment, so I believe that's why there's barely anything new available online. I imagine they'll show up eventually, but might be a bit of a wait. I'd like a Marlin Dark in .357 myself.

Reason for being sold out: High demand in the USA has limited the Canadian supply. Demand here for non-restricted firearms has increased since the OIC reclassified many rifles as prohibited. What josh.s mentioned about Marlin being part of Remington and being bought by Ruger has an impact also.
Will you see more: The distributors and dealers say yes, as the demand is there. The price of lever action rifles has climbed as a result of this demand.

I was looking on-line last year and found limited number and not the caliber I wanted. I came across exactly what I wanted in a store when I was going through Grande Prairie, AB last Summer. I dislike phoning around, but it might be worth your while. Pretty much everyone ships these days.
