Seems like my go to retailers don't have it anymore? Where are you guys finding it? With all the people who still shoot 8mm both in Canada and globally, sure seems odd that nobody wants to stock it.

Tradex stocks it. Relative to most commercial ammo, it is not that big a seller so I doubt that it is high on the list for most retailers to stock large amounts.
I still have a few hundred rounds of surplus for putting holes in paper. After that I will reload.

I was at delselins in Vernon yesterday they have loads of yugo surplus 8mm. Around $10 for small box. Priv new production 8mm is only $23 there

For all of you that seek the finer grades of surplus ammo this is your chance to buy into the top tier of 8mm Mauser ammunition.

Sad, my best friend, as much as I try to convince him otherwise, still consistently shoots original ww2 German ammo.

Surplus 8mm Mauser (8x57mm) ammo is still very abundant in the USA and overseas, but it is not being imported into Canada because the Canadian dealers can't buy it and pay to get NRCAN to test and approve it first or cheap enough to sell in quantity in Canada, plus they feel it is a lower profit seller and regular customer demand is too low to charge what they need shooters here to pay to make it worthwhile, pretty much the same deal as .303 surplus ammo.
