Hey pitdog boy isn't it about time for another sks tourny at POCO? Any metal left on those puppies? Pretty lame up there these days as far as gongs go. I have one in reserve
 
last weekend i was there and they took them down, somebody was shooting the bolts off and/or broke the mount,
thats realy a shame when some one has to go and wreck it for all of us,
 
I think the Gongs you made for the SKS shoot are all tucked away for the next gong shoot. I think for alot of us old farts that can't see anymore it is to early in the year for a gong shoot...not enough light.....LOL

It sounds like Nemo was up there doing some laser beam bolt action terrorism to the gong's again. As for the gongs that emmab made for the 2009 gong shoot easyrider604 has them at home and has not to my knowledge used them since the last gong shoot in the fall. Although I was thinking about starting up another gong shoot up at poco but it has been so busy up there that we could not even attempt it. But maybe when the spring comes & it starts to be less busy up there, plus if we could convince enough people to come I am pretty sure I could get the R.O.'s to let us have another gong shoot & couple of benches set aside for it again.
 
Emmab and gentlemen, the gongs are safe and warm my garage.

How about two classes this time for the gong shoot? 50 yrs old and younger, 50 + and older. Give us old farts (like Bjs said), a class of our own:D and of course we shoot earlier so get more daylight to see the gong better.
 
I have two gongs ready and waiting to come on my next range trip. They are the ones I made a while ago to donate. I have been unable to get to the range in months....... :(
