Last Sat I was at the range and the red dot auto shut-off during a few shots. At that moment I remember someone mentioned that and I thought I got the same thing. Turned out that the battery cap is loose so as soon as the battery disconnects it powered off. Tightened up the cap and now so far so good. I think I will start checking the cap every time before I go to the range just in case.
