I am buying my daughter a 20g for upland and ducks and am looking at 2 for sale .One is the Benelli Ultra light 24" barrel nice gun but have never shot one.The other is a Beretta A 400 Explore 28" barrel bit heavier but I have shot one and liked it almost as much as my browning gold 20.Thinking there are some that have tried one or both and what are your opinions .Price is almost the same so not an issue ,my daughter is 5'11" and an Olympian so she can handle the 12 but prefers "borrowing" my gold 20 .Thoughts??

That 24inch barrel is going to get old fast.... as in muzzle blast .
Yeah, I am that guy and yes the one that fits her even if it the Browning Gold.
You might have to find something else for you to shoot if that is the case.

24” bbl and 10” of reciver 34”makes it long enough the muzzle blast will not be a issue a over under with 28” bbl and 2-3” of a receiver makes 31” that’s not bothersome as far as fit both those guns should come with stock shims so the fit can be tailored to her needs personally I like the deal of the benelli the quality of each is superb

I prefer the xplor a400 of the 3 mentioned. It comes with shims as well to change comb drop. My 20 and 28ga xplors both have 26" barrels without kickoff. I'm 5'10" and thinish to average built and it's perfect right out the box for me

Another option is just buying another gold

Agreed, a 24” barrel for ducks and Upland would be my last choice.

Hate to admit my model 12 16 gauge has been my go to pheasant gun for last 3 years.. maybe he's right
