Which 30 cal load for coyotes?

Okay gentlemen, I've been running into quite a few coyotes recently while out cutting wood etc and I think I'd like to tag a couple. I don't really have any "coyote caliber" rifles, I go from a .22 lr to a .308 and 30-06. The .22lr is out as it's illegal and I wouldn't use it anyway. What would you reccomend for a 30 cal load for coyotes? I'm not sure if I should reload something light (that might expand too much and ruin the hide), or stick with 150's (that won't really expand and might just punch on through). Any experience with .30 cal's on coyotes out there?
 
I bought these 110gr hollow points from wholesale sports in 30 cal. I think they would be a blast to try out of my 300 win. I haven't loaded them yet as my nosler book doesn't have a load listed for them but my hunting partner has a speer load manual and it does so I am going to try it, 42 gr of IMR4198 at 2857fps. I know they will be a mess but I am not in it for the fur just the population control. There are sure way to many yotes around. They are sure harassing the cattle alot. Cruising in and out of the herd steady.
 
Any 30 cal will damage hides. And, contrary to what common sense might say, bullet expansion usually fully occurs withing the first few inches of penetration.

Your best bet might be exactly what ben suggests. Go for a hard cast gas checked lead bullet at slow speeds. Try to get a wad cutter or semi wad cutter design
 
Every yote I've seen taken with a 30 cal was literally shredded apart.....:redface:

I'd agree though a hard cast lead may be the best solution......
