Which 300 RUM?

To you guys that have had both, how much extra does a RUM get you over a .300 Wby? I've had a couple of the latter, but none of the former. In the Wby I loaded 200gr Partitions (pretty much exclusively) to 2950-3050fps (IMR7828 and more recently RL25) out of 24"-26" barrels.

Using 180gr bullets in both, my 300RUM rifles produced about 120-130fps more than my 300WBY, both with 26" barrels.

My 24" 300 win mag does 3075fps with 200 partitions and retumbo. My 300 wby didnt shoot accurately over 3000fps with 200 partitions and 7828. My 26" 300 rum went almost 3200fps with retumbo and 200gr accubonds.

In my 300 wby, I shoot a 200 gr accubond with fed 215 primers and Imr 7828. I have my bullets seated out as far a my magazine will allow and my loads chronograph 3150 from a 26 in barrel. From my 300 rum I get 3185 out of 200 grain sierra gamekings with fed 215 primers and Imr 7828 from a 26 in barrel
