which 300wsm to buy??

I change my vote to Benelli, for $2300 you can buy the gun and a VXII:)

AND now you can get a 10 shot clip, Lock and Load :D :ar15::ar15:

Quick you better sell it, you just offended the CGN Elite crew :puke:

who sells the benelli and how does it feed the wsm?? any problems??

If you want a great, reliable rifle in .300wsm, with a detachable magazine buy a Sako 75 if you can find one. I can't comment on the Sako 85 as I've not used one, but I'm sure its as reliable as the 75.

Lots of guys that hunt wiht Lee Enfields use 10 round magazines, and I suppose some of them use clips to load thier magazines, too.

Yeah, those magazines are military surplus and lot of the rifles came with them. But in a new rifle?

Ten rounds and a semi makes you understand while people wear blaze orange.

Sure makes it one good looking rig:rolleyes:

Tumor and Goiter also come to mind.
It took awhile to get the vomit out from between the keys.

Come on, its not that bad. The mag is low enough you could plastic weld a tube on the bottom to make a turret for the handle bars on your quad.:p

You guys are all over that Bennelli R1 like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat! I'll take that R1 in 300 WSM over any other 300 WSM on the market today bar none. I've shot them and have seen what they are capable of accuracy wise and they are well balanced and felt recoil is minimal. Before you slame them for being ugly.....you just might want to to shoot one first. Yes they are different in appearence...but dahm they shoot!

No one said that they weren't a excellent rifle, but that doesn't change the fact that its an ugly rifle with that magazine hanging down like a tumor. They do look better with a standard magazine.

These are all lies! Something that ugly cannot have the self-respect to shoot well, unless someone has shown them a remmy 760:popCorn:

if recoil is an issue buy a .308

which means needing a WSM over a .308 tells me you're reguarly hunting game at over 300m (why else would you need the added energy?). hunting at long ranges requires careful aim and well placed shots...

these are slow, and percise. bolt actions have proven to be more then fast enought in these situations....

ergo... the need for a semi-auto in ,300wsm is? ;)

flame on!

I could live with this one .........

R1.jpg

Maybe you could SC, But that rifle (regardless of how well it shoots) will never find a spot in one of my gunsafes!! Even without that abortion of a 10-shot magazine, that rifle is uglier than the hind end of a Mandrill Baboon. :puke: What a waste of a nice piece of wood! I don't want to have to hide my rifle every time a shooting buddy or hunting acquaintance is in my area. JMHO ;):D Eagleye.
