Just picked up a mint Parker Hale Safari model 1100m in 375HH in a magnum length Mauser action. No frills but a decent shooter. For a rifle from the late sixties it has been glass bedded and has a weighted butt stock(to assist managing the recoil and balance),dual cross-bolts and open sights, everything that I want! The only issue I see is the Mauser wing safety, so have to look for really high mounts.
I want a model 70 extreme weather in 375HH with irons on it. Ardent had a photo of one..... gorgeous!
…magnum lenght action like a brevex or just an opened action if this is a true one wow you find some of the rare action ...
…
I did check to see if it was an opened up action, but it did not seem so as the 375 cartridge sat fairly easily in the receiver as in you can see the whole cartridge on the follower while looking down into the action if you get my drift. I guess I got fairly lucky.
My plan is to use a Ruger RSM in 375 H&H for plains game and a 416 Rigby for cape buffalo.
Cheers
Jay

No issues with ejected brass not clearing the scope? Some Sako 85's have this issue.
That's like buying a half-ton to haul your boat and a 1-ton to haul your trailer.
