I am going to purchase a 5.56/223 bolt gun that can make use of my Pmags and scratch my tactical itch. I would be very appreciative of anyone's experience and/or opinion on either the MRA Renegade, BCL Scout or CZ 600 Trial. Accuracy is also somewhat important :) Thanks

have you any interest in a pump action one like the Troy PAR? I had the bcl bison but not for long as it was never feeding right and actually looks pretty silly in person/ although very accurate.

troy par is fun

My brother in law has the BCL, LOVES it. Accurate enough to bang goings and shoot silhouettes. Not sure about the MOA.. I really enjoyed shooting it , I’d probably get the the bronco scout with the 12.5 if it were me. :)

Ruger American Ranch, best bang for buck, check your barrel for free float and action screws for tightness. They work very well and outshoot most owners.
Will take AR mags, will leave you more money left over for a quality optic.

Alternatively, CZ from the list, or a Remington 700 with AICS mags.
I have personally had problems with my renegade in the past, failure to extract for the most part.
BCL has had a very bad reputation over the past years, and most people i know would not consider it even if it was the last option, I have had BCG AR bolts crack and disintegrate on my before.
Something you can research before opting for the BCL.

I have the bcl bison scout in 223, the 12.5" flavor. Zero problems with any ammo ive fed it and cycles reliably. Its about 1 moa....ive been thinking about getting a 308 one as well.

The CZ is a great rifle, The Mossberg MVP Patrol line is good for the money at $760 right now. CZ is nearly double the cost.
For my money I'd go Mossberg and invest the rest in a scope/mount, short 10 round mags, Pmags, sling, ammo and bipod if so inclined.

Ruger American Ranch.

Light, Accurate, Reliable. Usually they can be had for well less than the others. The BCL is a crime for the price and weighs like 10lbs loaded.

Also check out the new 5.56mm Ruger American Ranch Gen2...some good changes. Limited availability at the moment.

MDT has Howa 10 round mags if one would need it. They are expensive though.

One can carry two CZ 5 rounder mags while hunting. E.g. have one stocked with varmint rounds and the other with "deer" rounds.

The ruger American ranch is more accurate then the bcl or the renegade. I have not shot the cz scout but the extendable stock is not ideal for getting top accuracy.

Take a look at the Mossberg MVP, Ive had one for years now and its been absolutely great to me. Bonus points for taking STANAG mags.
