Which 9mm Pistol to buy

Hi Guys,

I am in the market to buy a 9mm. I have a few choices in mind but just need more advice. This will be for range use shooting targets/metal plates. The guns below are what come in mind. If you guys can advise on something different , that would be great as well. I would like a nice trigger and good sights.

Glock 19x ( Have shot a Glock 17 before)
Walther PP2 M2 5" ( owned it before, had to sell it for financial reason)
Cz 75 Sp-01 Shadow or shadow 2 ( Not sure if its worth the extra money) ( Shot about 20 rounds through it few years back)

What were your impressions of the ones you shot? Sounds like you are ok with either polymer or steel. The Walther, HK and CZ all have nice triggers.

The new Walther PDP sounds hard to beat, is optic ready (if you ever wanted to try a red dot), and can be found for less than 900.
 
Shadow 2 OR. Failing that, make sure anything you buy is optics ready (even if you don't think you'll go down that path right now).
 
Either Shadow is wonderful. The S2 won’t really shine above the SP-01 Shadow until you start competing. Then the differences really stand out.

The more your eyes suck, the more you’ll appreciate a dot. Lol! So keep that in mind.
 
The Walther PDP and the Shadow Systems MR918L or MR920L. Both are exceptional. Arguments can be made for either. The one big advantage the PDP has is its price. It's around 500 less.

I'd recommend looking at a commonly available, reliable striker fired polymer framed pistol that fits your hands and you can readily access the controls in a safe manner.

The list is not long, but there are a few good ones out there.

Sig P320
Glock
Walther PDP
S&W M&P Autoloaders
HK newer models
and so on...
