Yes, the Timney had issues.
Just go with the Geisselle Super Sabra trigger and bow. Pricy piece of kit but well worth it for the Tavor.
Or......wait for the new X95!

Thats the setup I have ready for my X95and that setup worked wonders in my Tavor.

As far as hammer packs go, the Tav-D and Geissele Super Sabra are about the same except the Geissele has an adjustable first stage.
Personally I prefer the Geissele as it has been accepted for Mil/Leo applI cations which speaks to me.

the lighting bow is a better upgrade
I concur. TVPP knows his Tavor, and he emphatically told me the Lightning bow gets 70% of the improvement at 20% the cost of a trigger pack.

The super sabra pack has a crisp brake.
The bow will remove the play and make it closer to a target trigger. Both made a great improvment, but if you expect a match bolt action trigger feel, just forget about it.

I have the Geissele Lightning Bow and the Super Sabra trigger pack.
As I've stated before, I'm no "high speed/ low drag" type... or an "operator"..... but I reeeally enjoy my Tavor in this configuration.
I have several friends with Tavors - all with different setups - and I am partial to mine...

Not to sure what there is to elaborate. Geissele has been accepted for use in Mil/Leo rifles. Can't say the same for the Tav-D or Timney. That said Shooting Sight was designing a LE model of the Tav-D with an increased pull weight of... 7lbs? Don't know if it ever came to be as most people go to Geissele.
I'll clarify. What government agencies are using a the Super Sabra? Countries? Units?
I ask because I can dig into the results of there use regarding reliability once I know.

Send Geissele an email. I cant remember off the top of my head but I am certain I have read that some agencies in the US use them.

Pretty sure if you crack open one of the Harrisburg Police Dept's Tavors you'll find a Giessele inside.

Even if it was NR, I would still have a Tavor, ACR, Swiss, etc.
The couple rifles I wouldn't have are the ATRS rifles.
