Hey guys, I just bought a CZ 557 Lux in 30-06 and it should be here in the next few days. I want to eventually get an Aimpoint red dot for hunting moose, deer and bear in Ontario. Normally where we hunt shots on moose are under 100 yards and deer are usually moving if not running flat out. I am thinking either the Micro H-1 or H34L or H30L, I want some opinions on which one and how to mount it. Now my 30-06 being a long action will I have to go with one of these "L" models? What would be the noticable difference between the H30 and the H34, field of view, bigger viewing tube? I know the CZ 557 has dovetail mounts (I think 19mm) on the receiver so which rings would I need for this and is there a mount for the Micro H1 to a 19mm dovetail?
If I choose the Micro H1 could I mount it on the front of the receiver just infront of the chamber? I would need some kind of a single dovetail mount to the H1. Would this be too far forward on the gun?
