Buy quality and only cry once. Or practice your iron sights while you save.

With a little bit of patience you should find a gently used Micro H1 or Comp ML2 / ML3 for around 450$.

aimpoint on M305

I already saw an EBR with a reddot on the top cover and a magnifier on the rear stripper-clip sight base. That's an option that save weight, money and lower the sight plane compared to this scope mount.
I'm not sure if the guy had to grind some material off the magnifier mount however.
