Which ak variants are non restricted

I heard that the cz 858 has become prohibited, is the only other option a csa 58?

Some/most versions of the cz858 are currently prohibited but apparently Blaney will restore them to their previous restricted / NR status with the passage of Bill C42.

The vz58 is not affected and is currently either restricted / NR depending on barrel length.

Also not prohibited are the FSN-01 versions, or the czh2003 versions.

CZ 958 is awaiting RCMP lab approval apparently as well. Wolverine has some threads going on it, updated new receiver 858's to avoid RCMP BS. Fingers crossed....

Any new semi auto version of the 58 or 858 would avoid reclassification and Bill C68 BS.
