Which ammo (weight) do you shoot in IPSC Production and Steel Challenge?

147 like most for the horizontal push instead of the vertical muzzle flip 124 grainer produces .

all the answers here are very subjective, recoil is something '''felt'''' by the user. in fact, JPD used 124grainer in his shadows when he was the IPSC production canadian king.

147gr...campro loaded no longer tgan 1.114. Berrys 147 loaded around 1.15. I was using n310...switching to n320

The only people I have spoken with that use 115's for IPSC are those that don't reload and are forced to because there is nothing else available at their local store.

Most use 147's or, 124's that are at or <1.1"

9mm firearms were invented with the 124g 9mm round in mind.
115g, 147g etc all came after the fact, so i only shoot 124g in my 9's and they eat it without fail.
My opinion, if your not reloading, to get the best performance and accuracy from standard ammo shoot 9mm 124g, it's what 9's are made to shoot.
