Which "black" guns may be next for reclassifcation

For example I collect brand x, they are currently non restricted. I have 7 of them and they are worth approx. $21,000. The high dollar value is based on rarity and the fact they are non restricted. If they get reclassified to Restricted their value will drop to approx. $11,000.00. If they end up prohibited maybe $6000.00 then eventually nothing.

Personally I would like to get ahead of a prohibition. I may be a odd duck out as I noticed people were bidding up CZ's to join the proposed prohib club. Thats not a club I want to be invested heavily in ;O)

Do you collect guns because you like them, or as an investment? If it's the latter, there are better investments, Precious Metals as an example. If it's the former consider this, IF there are more prohibitions you will not be able to buy them unless you are grandfathered for that class of firearms. What's that worth? Unless it's all about the money, them sell them and start collecting coins.

I agree it's a waste of time to second guess what's coming next, but I think your mistaken to consider Bill C-71 pretty tame. If they ram this through, I'd put money on it that there is more to follow in short order. They are putting the keys in the hands of the RCMP, if that doesn't worry you, you haven't been paying attention lately.

Our club is going to be having a sitdown with the local MP (Liberal). I intend to make sure it's very clear to him if this goes through, he will not have a second term. It's a rural riding so his chances are questionable at best considering what's happened with the PM's India trip etc. If he stands up for his riding he might just have a chance of getting elected for a second term, otherwise he'll be a one hit wonder.

Any rural riding that is currently Liberal, the constituents need to make it very clear that their MP will be out of a job if they vote to have this go through.

What a stupid post. Just put the fear in everyone's eyes. What happens, happens! But we shouldn't spend our lives worrying. We need to stop these idiots from making more retarded laws. But what I find most funny is the "come and take them" saying, if most people proclaim that they won't give up their guns.. Then why are they so worried about gun confiscation?
We literally can't think like that, we have to be more tactical in our approach and get off our asses in 2019 and vote truedeau out and have a majority government!
And to what everyone is saying lately, BUY MORE GUNS! Don't let the libs scare you into not buying more.

Seriously, if you look at the name-ban list it's practically a list of guns used in Action Movies. So if we are going to get another one in the near future, I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same 'logic' to determine the next round of bans, looking at the last 20 years of media for the scariest guns, and blacklisting them...

However, I think this time around it will be popular ones used in VIDEO GAMES!

Younger people love black guns. Let's ban the ones they are likely to acquire in a few more years when they have the financial means to buy what they wanted as a youth.
 
And then after they ban all semi autos and firearms crime statistics don't change at all (or get worse) they'll continue to lie to us and look for more ways to screw us over to make the sheeple safe. Next will be all the restricted firearms, then magazine fed bolt actions, then sharp sticks...

By the time they realize that criminals don't care about the law and that they never turned in their illegally acquired firearms, we'll already be disarmed and there will be no point in reversing any of their stupidity. Maybe then they'll focus on the real problems.

How about instead of taking away my property for no reason they change the legal system?
I suggest life in prison for violent crimes involving a firearm with no chance for parole, ever!
Also go back to the days when prison was punishment, not a spa/crime college. No TV, no internet access, they go out and break rocks every day...

Damn lieberals have ruined the world and somehow the brainwashed masses keep voting for them.
They treat terrorists better than our own veterans which by itself should be enough.
Turdeau has to be voted out, he's done absolutely nothing so far to make Canada better and the damage he's doing to our reputation internationally will be hard to undo.

heres a fact --many years ago a law was introduced that in a commission of crime ,if a firearms is used the penalty carries an added 5yrs in prison--wanna know how many times it actually made it to sentencing?NONE--plea bargained away every time

Merlin’s beard! What he said.. Just like there are people who don’t understand conservation and will always persecute trophy hunters, so will go for gun owners, scary semi autos or otherwise. If you want to consider yourself a committed gun owner, stand behind those like Rod and Tracy, and double down and buy what you want so you can enjoy it while you can.

Maybe half of those 5000 realize that just because they don't own one of the rifles currently being targeted for prohibition that they need to fight because this is still just the beginning and one of these days a firearm they do care about will be on the block.
