Federal (FC) and Speer are two brands that I believe to have the thinnest brass in the neck area.
A .356 Berry's Plated Hollow Point will hardly "bulge", as in increase, the outside diameter of FC and Speer cases. Whereas all other brands will show an obviously bulged case where the bullet is seated.
Hence there is less case neck tension with FC and Speer brass. I thought that may be an issue that would cause bullet set-back, with cartridges in the magazine, due to recoil.
So far, i have seen no evidence of bullet setback with medium-high power 9mm. I will load up some full power ammo and see if the recoil will result in set back.
