Which BUIS will clear a Elcan DR 1-4x

Just run a mini red dot on top or a RMR/T1 on a 45. I can't count the number of times I've seen people flip up their BUIS and their zero had shifted a ton even on the super nice ones like Troy, KAC or MBUS Pros.

It really is a personal preference kind of thing. I was just saying that I don't have a problem with eye relief. I'm 6'4" tall and shoot with my stock two settings out usually. My cheek is no where near the charging handle. My Elcan's offset "rain sights" will never be as accurate as a true BUIS due to the increased sight radius.The weight is not really a issue for me, is it as light as my Colt 607 clone? No, not even close but I think it would be way worse to pack my M1A around all day(not that you can pack a AR anywhere). I'm in no way trying to get the Op to spend a ridiculous amount of money on his firearms like I have. I went with the front and rear KAC BUIS for the same reason I added a FDE Elcan mini RDS mount/7Moa Docter sight, PEQ 15, M3X, Dual pressure switch (the clone bug). I'm just in agreement with another CGN member while stating my opinion to the op (Trying to contribute to the thread in which I stated the only other sight I know of that will fit that was not mentioned - Matech). What works for some does not work for all. Go with what you want and what you like. I actually meant to quote onetwentyish and not you cr5. Sorry about that!
