Which Dies Do I Keep

Munkey1973, a CGN member makes a locking ring with 1 thou marked settings which can be used for both Lee and the Hornady dies (and hopefully will work on the RCBS die in the mail) - resizing and seating the bullet. Paid him $15 each, they are split and come with Allen key screw to lock into position. After a few attempts got the Lee 243 die setup so I didn’t need to fiddle with getting that perfect small increment setting.

Now have to start over because I’m out of the 105 gr. Hornady bullets. And when seating the bullet I also place ram 1/2 down and then rotate 180 degrees for final stroke. In my mind it works for me as I’ve had very good accuracy with the 243.

May be my imagination but I feel the sizer button on the Hornady dies pulls back up through the neck easier and smoother than the RCBS
I don't think it is carbide-easy but maybe its harder steel and more forgiving on the lube ? idk

I did buy a carbide sizer button and rod for a STW years ago, that was one sweet set-up, Lyman iirc

Lock rings will fit all die bodies which are standard 7/8" x14, RCBS included
