which dies Lee 90500 or 90599

I just ordered a Lee 50th Anniversary kit. I am now looking at some dies thought I would start with the 22 Hornet I have found two sets. both are three piece sets. Price about the same, which one should I buy.

Steve... I didn't look up your Lee #'s. But for a quick response I believe the 3 die sets from lee would have one include and neck sizer and another set would include a crimp die. So from there you could choose which set you would like. I think Lee's deluxe 3 die set includes the neck sizer die along with a full length sizer and a bullet seater.
Lee also has a 2 die set that would be a good start. RGB die set.

Redding Deluxe die set or Redding bushing die set or Forster die set.

These dies are the best out there, the finish inside, the dimensions inside, the flexibility of case mouth tension on the bushing dies, the materials used and machining. From the first time you use them you'll know why, no slop in adjustments resulting in minimum runout. In-line seating with the Forster seaters, although I prefer Vickermann seater, I have never used a Comp. in-line bullet seater from Redding but like the RCBS and the aforementioned Vickermann. It's an accuracy thing, go cheap or go quality! IMHO
If I could do it all over again, I would order Redding bushing neck dies and Vickermann seating dies for all my calibers and I'd be a happy(happier)man.
Cast bullet shooters would love the Vick. die as seating is so straight that you don't bell cases at all, giving more uniform case tension and much less run out, and your brass lasts twice as long.

90500 are Limited Production Pacesetter dies (2) one to full length size, one to seat/crimp, no factory crimp die with the limiteds.

90599 are the deluxe set (3) one full length resize die, one to collet neck size, one to seat/crimp

Lee dies will also reload quality ammunition.
