Which glock

As I mentioned before, take a look at the M&P9. The Carry & Range Kit is the best deal out there. You get the gun, 3 mags, holster, mag pouch, Uplula mag loader, 3 palmswells, cheap ear plugs for ~$660. And it's a more ergonomic gun than the Glock and just as reliable.

I bought the Glock 22 and have changed out the stock bbl for a Lone Wolf and have bought the conversion bbl for .40 to 9mm. The stock Glocks cannot shoot lead and they swell up the brass so it won't last long. I have to say the Glock 22 kicks like a mule compared to a 1911 I was shooting the same day, same ammo. Both are .40S&W guns. I guess I am a steel gun guy but was told that the Glocks are best in 9mm and I wanted another 9mm so this is the way I went. Wanted to find out what all the fuss was about. My gun is brand new it may get better with age.

Thanks guys.
I'm thinking 17 gen 4 with adjustable sights. That way I can switch back straps for my son if he wants to shoot it.
My biggest concern is if the geometry will suit me/us.
Without going into a big debate what is a decent holster?

Get the gen4 G17 if you're concerned about customizing the backstraps but get the fixed sights. Once they're set there's no need to mess with them.
My son started shooting my gen3 G17 @ 14. Two years later he now shoots it better than me with less practice!
I own several types of semi's and revolvers. They all have different ergos. I adjust my handling/shooting of each accordingly.
You can find some decent deals on the EE for used holsters and mag holders. I have a cheap Bladetech kit that works fine for range use.

Like I always said, Glock have a snappy recoil (all polymer are like this), sell the Glock and buy a 92fs!

Go to a range and have both of you shoot them before buying ...
