Which gun does this barrel fit?

Here's my story. I bought some parts at a gun auction, and a shotgun barrel was included in one of the lots. All of the grooves on the receiver end of the barrel match those of my 870 Express. However, the barrel ring is a lot further away from the receiver than the one on my 870 barrel. It fits on my gun fine, but the barrel ring is too far away to fit the mag tube.

Is it for a home defense model 870, or for the Norinco knock-off?

I'm probably going to sell it, but I think I should know what it fits first.

I believe that is a Norinco HP9 barrel. Some of their 870 copies have a slightly longer mag tube resulting in the barrel hanger being further ahead on the barrel.

Thanks, Shelby. I'll have to take all the approporiate measurements and post it up on the for sale forum. Too bad it doesn't fit the Remingtons
